Here’s what we’re looking for:
Academic Subjects:
PSAT, SAT Reasoning Test, SAT Subjects Test, AP Subjects, English-language arts, Spanish-language arts, Japanese-language arts, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-calculus, Calculus, TOEFL, and ESL.
Qualifications:
=Experience: At least six months of documentable tutoring experience in your subject.
=Education: A year or more of college.
=References: Two references directly related to your tutoring.
=Your own transportation and insurance.
=Availability: The prime tutoring hours are 3pm to 7pm, Monday through Friday, so you would want to be available for at least some of those hours to build up a clientèle. Also, once you start, you should be able to commit to your clients throughout the year.
=Creativity and an ongoing interest in teaching and how people learn!
=Patience and a sense of humor!
=Reliability and an extraordinary sense of quality and customer service!
